created my EP cover art using strobe lights, dslr camera, lightroom, photoshop, firefly ai
Synopsis:
How did I create a content system that creates 12 reels a month, 100k+ views?
How did I achieve mental health with content creation?

some months you'll lose more follows than you gain and you have to be ok with that
some months you'll have more viral moments. 2025-01 was this for me
as long as month after month you're in the net positive, you know you're doing something right
I make music for fun— released my first song Err Day on 2024-11-06.
After 12 years of using Instagram as a personal account (1161 followers in 2024-11), I pivoted to artist mode. Carousels don’t grow reach — only reels do. I've accumulated 1906 followers in 2025-10.
Toolkit: Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, ChatGPT, DALL·E, Veo 3, Kling, Sora 2, Metricool, Notion
content database system= accountability
writing captions on database page= 1 place store info. searchable and reusable for future content
premiere pro file management= scalable systems
lyric sequences= reusable captions
timeline assets= resuable for future sequences. sequential and consistent file naming across premiere, notion, hard drive= searchable
my premiere keyboard shortcuts= reduces mouse clicks
My Premiere workspace — saved as a transferable template across computers. After years of testing, I’ve found multiple project windows for quick asset access works best.
One issue that plagued me before leveling up my management systems was constantly misplacing files. In Premiere, if files move or get renamed, they go offline — killing your workflow. As projects scale, so does folder chaos. After 12 years of editing (since 2012), I finally built a system in 2024 that works. The key is setting up your file management before editing — it takes effort upfront but pays off massively later. No system is perfect, but aim for scalability and minimal cognitive friction
Over the next year, I built a content system:
Numbered every video file for easy tracking and archiving.
Wrote down video formulas — high-performers reused, low-performers retired.
Batched reels monthly — create, schedule, and review data once a month.
seeing the high share rates are how i know a reel formula is working

Discovery: The best-performing formulas were performance clips with “Who is Brian 17?” narration and fusion pictures combining me with pop-culture visuals like anime.

notifications like this have become common
casually woke up 2025-06-19
goal is working
Result: By 2025-02, content system stabilized, stressing less about content— averaging +100 followers per month.
By 2025-08, integrated Metricool to crosspost across instagram, tiktok, youtube.
By 2025-10, reached 1,908 followers, publishing 12 reels monthly— creation fully systemized.
Return from $35 in ad for a successful reel
After avg of 2 IG ads, $35 only nets 16 followers. Tested ad strategy but sticking to organic growth
reposting without me having to ask= great
Challenge: Will templated content lose connection?
Solution: Keep spontaneity alive through Instagram Stories and livestreams — direct, human touchpoints that keep fans engaged.
1st livestream= 120 comments
someone from high school hating
some ppl give constructive feedback. love these
this is actually 1 of the nicer hate comment threads. some i prob can't show here
thought out notes do well with fans
encouraging to see demand
always will be ppl who dont get you
Takeaway: Systemization lowers friction and builds consistency.
Content follows power laws: 90% of results from 10% of assets. Turn top reels into formulas and reuse.
Ethos is everything. If your message shifts, people forget you — and you lose balance.
Your brand persona isn’t you; it’s the spirit that connects. Detach from criticism to stay grounded.
Growth= consistency, not virality. Steady posting builds trust. Don’t disappear.
Keep brand keywords in one document. Let every decision flow from them.
